GUELPH, ON (February 7, 2026) — McFadden’s Movement is proud to mark 10 years of impact with the continued support of Skyjack. Returning as Title Sponsor of the Sixth Annual McFadden’s Movement Celebrity Charity Classic on Friday, July 17, 2026 at Victoria Park East Golf Club, Skyjack is also expanding its support in 2026 as the Title Sponsor of the special McFadden’s Movement 10th Anniversary Gala on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Delta Hotels Guelph.
The partnership continues Skyjack’s longstanding commitment to supporting McFadden’s Movement and its mission to raise funds and awareness for mental health resources across the community. Since the Movement’s beginnings in 2016, growing support and participation have helped elevate the impact of the Movement’s initiatives and events year-over-year.
Founded in 2016, McFadden’s Movement made its ninth donation in 2025 — a record $36,500 for $18,250 each to the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), Waterloo-Wellington branch and CMHA Grey Bruce. Since the inaugural contribution following the 2016-17 hockey season, the McFadden’s Movement has donated a total of $194,500 in support of mental health resources.
Sixth Annual Celebrity Charity Classic returns July 17, 2026
The Celebrity Charity Classic will once again feature its signature celebrity-style format, where golfers can register as a threesome for the opportunity to play alongside a celebrity, or register a foursome without the celebrity add-on. Celebrities will include past and present Guelph Storm players, along with additional special guests. Participants are encouraged to follow McFadden’s Movement social channels and celebrity page as announcements continue in the lead-up to the event. The tournament returns after a fifth-consecutive record setting year, raising $36,500 for local mental health resources in 2025.
Registration for the tournament is now open and will remain available until June 1, or until the tournament sells out, whichever comes first. Click here to learn more and to register.

ABOUT MCFADDEN’S MOVEMENT
Founded by Garrett McFadden in September 2016, McFadden’s Movement is a nonprofit organization dedicated to changing, helping, and developing mental health among athletes — starting at the grassroots level. Inspired by McFadden’s own challenges and the loss of a close family friend in 2011, the Movement focuses on raising awareness and creating space for honest conversations about mental health in sport. Since its launch, McFadden has visited minor hockey and sport teams, as well as schools, sharing his story and the obstacles he’s faced on and off the ice. In addition to its education and outreach efforts, McFadden’s Movement has raised and donated $194,500 to mental health resources over nine years, including record-setting support of $36,500 in 2025.
