McFadden takes part in 5th & Final Battle for Mental Health

On Tuesday, December 19th, Garrett McFadden took part in the 5th & Final Battle for Mental Health in support of WES for Youth Online – a youth online counselling service created in memory of Wes Cameron.

McFadden laced up for the second straight season, representing WES For Youth Online, while also holding a Q & A during the second intermission to discuss McFadden’s Movement.

The event, in addition to a successful silent auction, chuck-a-puck, and a great hockey game, featured Kendra Fisher — former goaltender within the Team Canada National Hockey program — as a guest speaker during the first intermission.

All of the proceeds from the event went directly to WES for Youth Online, to help continue the free youth online counselling service. Fore more information on WES for Youth Online, click here.
