10th Anniversary Gala and sixth annual Celebrity Charity Classic presented by Skyjack raise $40,755.63 in 2026
GUELPH, ON — McFadden’s Movement marked its 10th Anniversary Year by raising $40,755.63 through its 2026 Gala and Celebrity Charity Classic presented by Skyjack, bringing the organization’s cumulative fundraising total to $235,255.63 over the past 10 years.
The milestone funds raised this year will support youth mental health resources through the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Waterloo Wellington and CMHA Grey Bruce branches.
The Movement entered its 10th Anniversary Year having raised $194,500 over its first nine years. The additional $40,755.63 raised in 2026 pushed McFadden’s Movement beyond the $200,000 milestone and brought its decade-long total to $235,255.63. The funds raised and donated over the last decade come paired with raising awareness and continuing important conversations surrounding mental health.
The 10th Anniversary celebrations began on Thursday, July 16 at Delta Hotels Guelph, with the McFadden’s Movement 10th Anniversary Gala presented by Skyjack. Supporters, partners, community members, mental health advocates, and friends of the Movement gathered to reflect on a decade of impact and recognize the people who have helped carry the mission forward since 2016.
The celebration continued on Friday, July 17 at Victoria Park East Golf Club, at the sixth annual McFadden’s Movement Celebrity Charity Classic presented by Skyjack. Golfers, celebrity participants, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters came together for another memorable tournament in support of youth mental health resources.
“Thank you to everyone who supported us during the Gala and golf tournament, as well as anyone who has supported us over the last 10 years,” Garrett McFadden, founder of McFadden’s Movement, shared. “It was great to reflect on the work that has been done and the difference that has been made for those who need it most over the last decade. We are excited for what’s to come and are eagerly looking forward to our next fundraiser. Though the stigma surrounding mental health stills exists, moments like these help to make conversation easier.”
The Movement’s decade-long fundraising history includes back-to-back $20,000 donations in 2018 and 2019, a $10,000 donation in 2020, $20,000 in 2021, $25,000 donations in 2022, 2023, and 2024, a then-record $36,500 in 2025, and in 2026, a new record of over $40,700 raised.
The 2026 result represents the largest single-year fundraising total in the Movement’s history.
Each dollar raised over the past decade has been made possible by a growing community of sponsors, family, friends, current and former teammates, donors, volunteers, contributors, and supporters who continue to believe in the Movement’s mission.
