On Thursday, June 8, Garrett McFadden was presented with the Dan Snyder Memorial Award as the Ontario Hockey League’s Humanitarian of the Year for the 2016-17 Season.

Also in attendance at the 2017 OHL Awards were teammates Ryan Merkley and Quinn Hanna, earning the 2017 OHL Rookie of the Year and Top Academic in High School honours respectively.
