On Saturday, June 8th, McFadden’s Movement will be hosting the third annual MM27 Road Hockey Tournament in Guelph at Centennial Collegiate and Vocational Institute (289 College Ave. West) in support of mental health resources.
The tournament welcomes kids eight and up to participate in divisional play, while also featuring past, present, and future teammates of former Guelph Storm captain, Garrett McFadden.
Teams are encouraged to take advantage of the early bird registration, with every team who registers before April 22nd receiving MM27 hats for each participant on the team!
Teams can register for the tournament online here, by printing and completing the registration form here to submit via email to McFaddensMovement@outlook.com, or by mail to: ATTN: McFadden’s Movement at 302-27 Cardigan Street, Guelph, Ontario, N1H 7V6.
Tournament information including set-up and rules can be viewed here.
The inaugural tournament held in June 2017 surpassed the $2,000 mark thanks to 100 participants and various volunteers, while last year’s event more than doubled that amount, raising over $5,000 with the participation of 25 teams, incredible sponsors, and countless volunteers.
