McFadden’s Movement has made the very difficult decision to reschedule the inaugural MM27 Celebrity Charity Classic to Monday, July 26, 2021. The tournament had originally been planned for July 27, 2020 at Guelph’s Cutten Fields and although on track for an overwhelmingly successful event thanks to the outpouring of support, due to concerns surrounding COVID-19, the Movement recognizes that the health and safety of everyone in the Guelph community and beyond is the top priority.
The Movement is already looking forward to July 26, 2021, where we will work twice as hard to bring an especially successful tournament in support of mental health resources for all golfers, celebrities, sponsors, and volunteers. MM27 is grateful and proud to continue to work with the supportive and flexible staff at Cutten Fields, where the inaugural Celebrity Golf Classic will still be hosted in 2021. For more information on the MM27 Celebrity Charity Classic, visit the event page here.
With that, the Movement recognizing the importance of mental health and coming together in this time, has a new special event planned for golfers on Monday, July 27, 2020. The event will feature a cash prize of $1,000, and more. MM27 will announce the details of this event in the next week.
Mental health resources need us now more than ever, and MM27 is going to do its best to continue to support entities such as WES for Youth Online and the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Waterloo-Wellington as they work to help our communities during this time. McFadden’s Movement extends the sincerest thank-you to all those who continue to support us in our goal.
