On Sunday, November 12th, McFadden’s Movement hosted Frayah Williamson as the MM27 Ambassador of the Game while the Guelph Storm skated to a 5-1 win over the visiting Sudbury Wolves.
Frayah, who is a dedicated Storm fan while adding that she has recently become a part-London Knights fan thanks to her mom’s boyfriend, shared the recent loss of a good friend to suicide within the last year as an eye opener to her own mental health.
“It’s important to me because last year I lost one of my really good friends to suicide,” Frayah said of her late friend, Cody. “It ended up really showing me about my own mental health in the end.”
