On Sunday, February 25th, McFadden’s Movement proudly welcomed back already recognized MM27 Ambassador, Logan Peters, with his teammates from the Shelburne Wolves Atom Rep team, to be the MM27 Ambassadors of the Game.
After losing his older brother to suicide in October 2017, Logan was the Ambassador of the Game on November 24th following a nomination by his mom, Cortnie Peters. To read more on Logan’s story, click here.
Now, a few months later, McFadden’s Movement recognizes the support offered by the Shelburne Wolves Atom Rep team for their teammate, Logan, through taping their sticks green in solidarity for mental health awareness.
“That night his team showed up with all their sticks taped lime green in a show of support and solidarity for Logan, and to bring awareness to mental health – we were so thankful for his team and the beautiful gesture,” Cortnie shared earlier this season. “That night, Logan scored a goal and pointed to the sky for his big brother. Tears were throughout the parents in the stands. We were so proud of him.”
