MM27 donates $1,000 to SJHL Assistance Program

On April 6th, the Humboldt Broncos of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) were involved in a devastating bus accident that unfortunately resulted in the loss of 15 lives, while others are still battling life altering injuries – both physically and mentally.

Thanks to the ongoing support of so many, McFadden’s Movement is proudly able to make a $1,000 donation to the SJHL Assistance Program. The program, as described on their website, has the intent to raise funds for all people, not just within the Humboldt Broncos, who are affected.

The website continues to read: “Hockey players respect those who they compete against and the SJHL is a family, so we recognize that while there is grieving to be done within Humboldt; there is also a lot of suffering with the other element teams and it’s imperative that support structure is put in to place.”

The program will be a significant help in providing mental health assistance and counselling for all players of the SJHL. Any remaining funds, if available, will go into an education plan in memory of the lives lost on April 6, 2018.

McFadden’s Movement is proud to support the SJHL Assistance Program. For more information, please visit: https://www.sjhl.ca/sjhlassistanceprogram
