In response to the current situation surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, McFadden’s Movement would like to provide an update on the two upcoming public events scheduled on June 6 and July 27 in Guelph.
On Saturday, June 6, the fourth annual MM27 Road Hockey Tournament is scheduled to take place at Centennial Collegiate Vocational Institute (CCVI), with the inaugural MM27 Celebrity Charity Golf Classic to follow on Monday, July 27 at Cutten Fields.
Both of these events currently remain scheduled and MM27 will move forward as planned with an optimistic mindset. It is important to note that we are monitoring the situation closely and will continue to follow all instructions and protocols provided by our Government and Health Professionals. The health and safety of everyone is, and will remain, our number one priority. We will be sure to provide further updates if the situation changes as the events approach.
MM27 is hopeful these events will both go on as planned with your support, allowing us to continue to make a difference for mental health resources – especially in such a strong time of need – including WES for Youth Online and the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Waterloo-Wellington branch. Both of these resources have received $23,000 respectively from MM27 over the last three years, and it is the Movement’s goal to continue this support in the wake of trying times for all.
McFadden’s Movement can’t thank everyone enough for their ongoing support and patience. We hope to see you on June 6, and again on July 27 for events that will hopefully bring us all together again following these unprecedented times.
If you wish to support mental health resources beyond the upcoming MM27 events, donations are immensely appreciated and can be accepted here.
Please contact McFadden’s Movement here or at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions or concerns.
